Job Description

• Leading the Romanian Accounting team within Leoni;
• Managing and supervising all financial accounting and operational activities in a manner that ensures compliance with financial and legal; policies and procedures in accordance with the Romania Tax Law;
• In charge of overseeing financial and internal audit processes;
• Takes responsibility for standards, governance and processes in area of responsibility;
• Defines and steers budgets for the development of activities within area of responsibility;
• Manages and supervises multiple org units within Accounting;
• Proposes and implements measures for improving team performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor or master degree with focus on Economics, Accountancy or Finance;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting, Tax or Finance managerial or leading roles, either in large organizations or in consulting area;
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, engage, and drive the performance
• Very good business acumen, strong decision-making and problem solving skills with sound of financial judgment
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strategic and operational experience across multiple function disciplines;
• Fluent knowledge of English; advanced Excel skills, and SAP is considered an advantage.
